M13 - Hercules Globular Cluster

01 September 2021

This night my primary goal was to capture the Heart (IC 1805) and Soul (IC 1848) Nebula. However, by the time I was done with the setup of my rig, these nebulae were still behind some buildings and I had to wait sometime. So I took the chance and slewed over to the famous Hercules Cluster. Knowing that the object is rather small and 200 millimeters of focal length is not much, I did not expect a very good result.

Long story short, the image that is shown here is the result of my experiment. Overall I am surprised that it still did resolve some detail and did not end in a "large white ball".
