Whirlpool Galaxy

This is my latest attempt to photograph the Whirlpool Galaxy with relatively normal photographic gear. The structure of the galaxy is quite a lot better visible than at my last images. But there is room for improvement - especially room for a greater focal length.

However at this occasion I also took an image of my imaging rig which came out quite nicely:
